BRIDGWATER’S county tennis star Jordan Clayton returned in style to the Exeter Junior Week Open.
Two years after winning the boys’ 10-and-under singles, Jordan moved up an age-group to win the 12-and-under title. He beat Oliver Tyrrell (Paignton) 7-5, 6-1 in the final.
It was by far the youngster’s toughest test of the week as he had swept past Joel Walker (Exmouth) 6-2, 6-0, Ben Collins (Torquay) 6-1, 6-3 and No 4 seed Robert Leck (Exeter) 6-2, 6-2 in the semi-final.
