SOMERSET Rebels have announced the names of the six riders that will represent the club for the 2013 speedway season, it seeing three changes from that which ended the 2012 season in October.

Returning are two riders who had their 2012 seasons curtailed through injury in the final month of the campaign, namely the Rebels number one and skipper Jason Doyle and reserve Tom Perry, who was the runner-up in both the British Under-21 and 19 Championships.

2013 will also see club asset Alex Davies returning to the Oaktree Arena together with European Under-21 Finalist, Kyle Newman, the Dorchester-based rider returning for a second successive season in Rebel colours.

The two of the three new riders comprise of Nick Morris, who was a member of the Swindon and Scunthorpe teams that respectively won the Elite and Premier League Championships in 2012, together with Josh Grajczonek, who joins Somerset on loan from parent club Glasgow, the 22 year-old having won his home Queensland State Championship for a fourth time this last weekend.

It is hoped that the club will be in a position to announce the final rider in the next few days once the necessary paperwork has been completed.
