SOMERSET start their 2012 hunt for one-day silverware today (May 4) when they face Surrey at the Oval in the CB40 competition.
Looking ahead to the game, England one day wicketkeeper Craig Kieswetter said: “We are chomping at the bit to get going with the white ball and it will be a really exciting game of cricket.
“It is only the start of the season and the final of the competition is a long way away so we are quite grounded as a set of players however we know what we have to do to get a victory.”
After Friday’s CB40 game Somerset are next in action when they take on Durham at Chester-le-Street on Wednesday.
