CRICKET: Buttler called into England's one-day squad

SOMERSET’S Jos Buttler joins county team-mate Craig Kieswetter in England’s one-day squad to face Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the up-coming ODI and T20 series.

Buttler, who impressed on the recent England Lions tour, has played four Twenty20 internationals but is awaiting his one-day debut. He replaces Ian Bell in the side.

England's limited-overs series: 13 February: 1st ODI, Abu Dhabi; 15 February: 2nd ODI, Abu Dhabi; 18 February: 3rd ODI, Dubai; 21 February: 4th ODI, Dubai; 23 February: 1st T20, Dubai; 25 February: 2nd T20, Dubai; 27 February: 3rd T20, Abu Dhabi.

All matches are day-night; ODIs start at 11am GMT, T20s at 4pm.

There are no fewer than three wicketkeepers in both squads, although Kieswetter is likely to retain the gloves ahead of Buttler and Jonny Bairstow.
