A TRIO of Somerset CCC's brightest young prospects have signed two-year contracts with the club, it has been announced today.
Tim Rouse worked his way through the county age groups and the Somerset Academy, and the 21-year-old batsman has played First Class matches, scoring 192 runs.
He is currently in action for Somerset in their County Championship match against Essex in Chelmsford.
Wicketkeeper/batsman Tom Banton has also committed to two years at the club, having made his First XI debut against Middlesex in this season's NatWest T20 Blast.
He also took a brilliant catch in a previous T20 match at Surrey, while on as a substitute fielder.
Completing the hat-trick of signings is fast bowler Ollie Sale, who worked his way through the Devon county age groups before his competitive Somerset debut in the 2016 T20 Blast.
He has largely spent the last season working his way back to fitness.
Incredibly proud to commit to @SomersetCCC full time - an exciting couple of years with a lot of hard work ahead! ππΌπ#blackbird https://t.co/bYNUUfsztV
