SCOTLAND is the destination for Enmore Park’s David Dixon this week as he looks to make a late charge up the Race to Dubai standings on the European Tour.
He received the news that he had got into the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles last week and now sets off on the long trek north in his Kellands Plant sponsored car in confident mood after practicing hard for the last few weeks since his last event.
On course, he has played many times before, and one which will host the Ryder Cup in 2014, Dixon is hoping that he can put four solid rounds together to enhance his chances of further starts on the Tour in the next few crucial weeks of the season if he is to avoid a return to Tour School later this year.
