A NORTH Petherton rugby player is reaping the rewards for a successful season as he is selected for Bath’s summer academy and the South-West Under 15s squad.
Dan Frost, 15, represented Somerset Under 15s last season but impressed in two tournaments for Bath Academy where the team won four out of six matches.
The Robert Blake Science College student will join the academy next month and will travel to Bath twice a week for training.
The double celebration of his call-up to the South-West Under 15s squad came shortly after and he will join up with their training camp this week.
A family member said: “He is really pleased at being selected and we are really proud of him.”
