PETHERTON produced a faultless display to beat Morganians 70-0 on Saturday to remain top of the table.
This was always going to be a tough test for the visitors, who lie third-bottom, and by half-time North Petherton had run in six tries to take a commanding hold of the match.
Morganians captain Barry John was replaced by Paul Grimstead after damaging his shoulder.
The visitors made several attacking moves during the second-half but they were unable to break the deadlock.
Their tackling was creditable but North Petherton's nack of winning alongside their fast runs made their attack unbareable for Morganians to handle.
Morganians: John, Faber, McBain, Quinn, Sussex, D Pierce, Neal, R Grimstead, M Winter, S Pierce, Gill, Box, Mills, J Winter, Chillingworth.
Subs: P Grimstead, Perkins, Thorne, J Winter.
Morganians are at home to Somerto next week while North Petherton are at home to Ivel Barbarians.
