MORGANIANS turned the corner on Saturday from rather a disappointing start to the season by winning against the Yeovil side.
The first half was fairly even with Morganians having the edge with a stronger pack.
Steph Pierce converted a penalty to give Morganians a 3-0 lead at half-time.
Simon Faber replaced Drew Pierce at hooker and Matt Winter came on for Dave Mills at scrum-half.
Ten minutes into the second half Ivel scored an unconverted try to lead 5-3 before mid way through the period, Morganians' Jeremy McBain ran over the line to give his side the lead and the win.
The team will travel to North Petherton next week for a 2.30pm kick-off.
Team: John, D Pierce, J Richards, Quinn, Sussex, McBain, A Richards, R Grimstead, Mills, S Pierce, Hyde, Gill, B Winter, Thorne, Chillingworth.
Subs: Faber, J Winter, Lloyd, P Grimstead, M Winter, M Neal
