MORGANIANS enjoyed a friendly game on Saturday in the Ken Pollard Memorial Cup, which saw the current team beat the old boys 27-12.
Tries for the current team came thick and fast when they took on old Morganians players.
Ben Chandler, Geoff Thompson, Ewan Hyde and Dan Miller all picked up tries, two of which were converted by Sam Chillingworth, who also picked up a penalty.
Replying for the old boys, Phil Triggol scored a try, along with one from Chillingworth, who swapped teams to give the struggling side a chance. John Frost converted.
Morganians have one more game this season on May 15 at home against Newark.
The Bridgwater side finished second in their league, and will enjoy the challenges of Somerset Two next season.
