MORGANIANS extended their winning run to nine in this friendly at Glastonbury.

Despite numerous changes from the previous week, it didn't take long for them to gel, with winger Dan Milliner rounding his opposite winger to open the scoring.

Fly half Doug Henson added the conversion, and soon after scrum half Dan Wilkins cruised over for a try after a darting run. Henson again converted.

With the front row of Geoff Thompson, Paul Grimstead and Simon Faber in complete control of the scrum, Morganians had the platform to launch numerous attacks, which led to tries from second rower Jason Richards and centre Owain LeMaitre, but Henson missed both conversions.

The second half saw Tor battle hard to get back in the game and they scored a try early on.

Morgs added more bulk to their pack with Julian Laver and started to get their pick and drive game going, which led to a try from flanker Jeremy McBain; this time Henson added the two points.

The last try came again from LeMaitre after fine work from winger Dan Mills.

After Henson failed to add the conversion, Mills was replaced by young debutant winger Jon Perkins.

Reps: J Laver, J Perkins.
