Bridgwater put in a determined display of rugby against an organised Norton team.
Bridgwater settled some early nerves as two tries came from well worked moves finished off by the winger Josh Sturdy who was impressive all game. Steward added to the points tally with a penalty before half-time.
The second half saw the Bridgwater pack start to dominate and an opportunist try from the quick-thinking Joe Stradling at the back of the opposition's five-metre scrum was the reward.
The promising centre partnership between Kerry and Cox again worked well allowing Kerry to run in a try from the 10 yard line.
Norton put points on the board to come back into the game but Bridgwater dug deep to come away with the win.
Team: Will Kerry, Dan Lang, James Kerry, Mark Cox, James Brakes, Dan Steward, Nik Bradley, Jason Moulding , Gavin Knight, Dave Norman (C), Matt Northey, Wayne Pither, Joe Stradling, (George Sluman 60), Josh Sturdy, Olly Steward.
