BRIDGWATER & Albion face another tough match this coming Saturday, when they host fourth-placed Newent.

Albion have lost their last two matches, including last weekend's home reverse at the hands of Corish All Blacks, about which director of rugby Geoff Sluman said: "If we had played like that against Matson the previous week we would have won, but you can't turn back the clock.

"We're looking forward to the game against Newent. We lost up there but we are going into the match with confidence.

"With some players coming back we will have a few more options on the bench. We could see what was happening against the All Blacks but there was not an awful lot we could do about it."

Second rowers Rob Thompson and Aaron Kelly will both be back in contention, as are hooker Sam Adcott and centre Nik Bradley, but centre Jay Owens is out after suffering a dislocated elbow against Launceston.

North Petherton return to action after a weekend off last time out with a trip to North Devon to face Bideford.

Pethy sit just four points behind Albion, meaning they could leapfrog their local rivals if results go their way this weekend.

Elsewhere this weekend, Bridgwater & Albion 2nds travel to Hornets in Somerset Premier and the 3rds host Somerton in Somerset Two South.

In Somerset One, Morganians welcome Chew Valley and North Petherton 2nds play host to Old Bristolians.
