BRIDGWATER & Albion are aiming to build on last weekend's opening day victory as they travel to Bideford on Saturday (3pm).

The Albion scored five tries in their 41-21 win over Teignmouth last time out, but coach Simon Morrell is expecting a tough trip to North Devon.

“We will be missing a few of the players from Saturday, however we hope to have a couple of new players before that game.

“Although we won’t be at full strength, the boys will have a good go at Bideford and if we can take some points off them that would be fabulous.”

Bideford also enjoyed a winning start to the season but in much closer fashion, as they edged out Thornbury 33-31.

Albion 2nds host Old Redcliffians in Somerset Premier, while the 3rds welcome Martock in Somerset Two South.

Back in South West One, North Petherton play their first home match of the season looking to bounce back from last weekend's agonising defeat at Cullompton.

Drybrook, who also lost out on the opening day, are Pethy's visitors.

North Petherton 2nds travel to Bath Old Edwardians in Somerset One.

Morganians, who started their Somerset One season with victory last weekend, host Bristol Barbarians.
