BRIDGWATER & Albion player Lovejoy Chawatama has been selected to play for England Students later this month.

The prop has been named in the line up for the England Students game against Portugal on January 24.

Lovejoy attends the University of West of England in Bristol and started playing for Bridgwater & Albion in the 2012/13 season.

Bridgwater & Albion Chairman, Steve Smith offered his congratulations to Lovejoy.

He said: “It’s fantastic news for LJ, who has become a real favourite amongst Albion supporters. Of course he will be missed when not available for us but we, none the less, wish him well and know he will be a real asset to the national squad.”
