RIDGWATER swimmer Charlie Attwood, aged 12, a pupil at Chilton Trinity Technology College, has made it through to the National Swimming Championships, which begin today at Pons Forge, Sheffield.

Charlie qualified in the 200m breaststroke when he competed at the recent South-West Regional Championships at Millfield.

It has been several years since a Bridgwater Swimming Club swimmer achieved national times and the club is thrilled with Charlie’s success and wishes him every success at the nationals.
