Bridgwater Hockey Club Mens 4ths BRIDGWATER travelled to top of the table Okehampton in a rearranged fixture from a snowed off game earlier in the year.
Bridgwater's hope of gaining some much needed points from Okehampton were soon distinguished as Okehampton broke and scored.
Although there was some solid defending by Lumby, M Morrish, C Hobbs and B Stone, along with goal line clearances by T Codd and S Morrish things soon turned sour, with Okehampton leading by six at half time.
Bridgwater came out looking more positive but the strength of Okehampton showed as they put another four past Bridgwater's defences.
Bridgwater had their own chances as M Davidge threaded a ball through to B Pope who expertly found S Morrish who squared to give Payne a glorious opportunity - but just missed. Okehampton became a little complacent at the back as Bridgwater pushed and beat the keeper, but was denied by the post.
Man of the match was T Codd.
