Bridgwater Hockey Club Mens 4ths BRIDGWATER started like a team at the bottom of the league as they failed to switch on, but jumped into action in the second half.
Ashmoor pounced on Bridgwater’s slow start to make the score 1-0 as they dominated.
If it wasn't for some solid defending by M Morrish, N Lumby, B Stone and key saves from T Codd it would have been more.
The midfield of D Morrish, R Morrish, L Hedaux, J Gale, C Birch and S Wilson along with strikers W Pope and A Turner got few chances in the first half.
After a key half time team talk Bridgwater woke up and started to create their own chances and Birch, Gale and D Morrish used their pace to create moves from the middle and down the wings, the result remained the same at 1-0.
Man of the match in a close game was C Birch.
