RED Tile triumphed in the Division One clash between two great rivals of the Uxella Sunday League, as they beat Tiger Old Boys 3-1.
Jake Crocker, Jamie Evans and Lee Mallett scored for Red Tile in a typically full-blooded contest – Carl Jones was on target for Tiger.
Tile took their chances clinically and with some style - Tigers meanwhile, created far more goal scoring opportunities during the game but just couldn't convert them with the same efficiency.
Elsewhere in Division One, Highbrun Athletic were 6-1 winners at Cobblestones and Ramblers beat Pawlett Rebels 5-1.
In Division two, George Bull scored twice for Spaxton Rangers, but it wasn’t enough to prevent them from slipping to a 5-2 defeat at home to Stogursey Rangers.
Huntspill Crowns beat Woolavington 2-0, while Puriton thrashed Huntspill BPH 11-1.
Rhode Lane Wanderers hammered Division two’s basement side, North Petherton 6-1 to record a fourth win of the season.
