BRIDGWATER Bowling Association ran a successful finals day on Sunday, September 6.
Peter Howard won the Hospital Cup singles final beating fellow North Petherton Bowling Club member Peter Walker.
Eileen Milton, also of North Petherton won the trophy for the lady going furthest in the competition.
A fantastic day for North Petherton was rounded off when their team won the Trevor Cup by beating Eastover Park Bowling Club in the final.
Following the matches cheques totalling more than £2,000 made up from money raised during the year from various leagues and competitions were presented to five charities including The League of Friends of Bridgwater Hospital.
