BRIDGWATER MMA fighter Mark Godbeer was crowned World Champion at BAMMA 21 on Saturday (June 13).
The 31-year-old defeated opponent Paul Taylor by TKO in the second round at the British Association of Mixed MArtial events in Birmingham.
Godbeer, started his career as an amateur on local shows in the Bridgwater area before moving into professional MMA.
He made a successful return to fighting in 2013 after almost two-years out with a career-threatening back injury which required surgery.
