B&A’s are eight points clear at the top of Division 1 of the Bridgwater Town and District Skittles League after they won by 22 pins at Naps A.

Slew-Ways won by 44 at the Lime Kiln, Trevor Crook hitting 83, and 37 Club by 17 at home thanks to Zak Pople’s 83.

Bottom team ShyTeds won by two at Googlies.

In Division 2, there were wins for Travellers, by 53 at the Blake Arms, Daydream-ers by 15 at the British Flag, Knowle Inn by 12 at home, Wembdon Crickets by one at the Malt Shovel and White Hart by 38 at the Bunch.

Pigeon Shooters won by 43 at home and top Division 3, Tom Popham hitting 80.

Second place Cupid Stunts won by 30 at home, George Waterworth hitting 79.

Rebels won by 19 at the West India House while Old Bangers won by three at home to Athelney.

Hazelnuts won by 30 at the Castle Club to head Division 4. Second place Jack’s Boys won by 40 at the Foresters, Cobblers by 75 at the Sportsman with seven players 60 and above, and Will’s won by nine at George Inn A.

Non Starters and Sarah’s Swingers top Division 5, Non Starters winning by 20 at home to Villistines and Sarah’s Swingers by 14 at the London Inn.
