THE Bridgwater & District Ladies’ Skittles League has seen the third drawn game of the season, this time at the Lamb N/P.

The home team, Lamb B, finished with a final hand 49 and, being two pins up, left the visitors, Lime Kiln, needing a final hand 52. They could only manage the 51 to tie the game.

This is the second week in a row Lime Kiln’s matches have ended in a draw.

Mansion House fell victims to Harvest Moon B in a game where, despite Mansion House clawing back 21 to go seven up after five hands, could not keep the momentum going and Moon B’s final two hands of 68 and 65 won them the game.

Maureen Cross top scored with 70 for Mansion House, with next best for the visitors being 55.

Division B saw all four home teams winning, with leaders OVH hitting an impressive 435 which Lamb A N/P could not respond to.

Penny Sperring’s top score for OVH of 70 included a final hand 17 flopper.

Globe A Cann had a 59-pin win against King William; Globe player Liz Livingstone top scoringed with 72.

London Inn won by 29 against Globe N/P who could only pull one pin over the seven hands, and West India House won by 25 against Thatchers.
