B&A’s and Halfway Boys lead Division 1 of the Bridgwater Town & District Skittles League.

B&A’s won 548-502 at home to Harvest Moon, pulling pins on all seven hands with Mike Wardle hitting 85.

Halfway Boys won by five pins at the 37 Club, Terry Oxman throwing a vital 13 spare on the last hand.

Plainsmen came back from losing 36 pins on the first hand to win by 26 at the Ring O’ Bells.

In Division 2 there were wins for Naps B by four pins at home to White Hart and Wanderers by 28 pins at the Commercial, and away wins for Lambs Inn A by 46 pins at the King William and Knowle Inn by 20 pins at the Blake Arms.

Daydreamers and Wembdon Crickets tied on 440 at the British Flag, Crickets’ anchor man Rich Eckley throwing a 13 spare.

TFL won by 27 pins at Foresters to join Pigeon Shooters at the top of Division 3 – Shooters had a bye, and the biggest win this week was by Old Bangers by 85 pins at the Market with 527.

Moonrakers won by 49 pins at the Harvest Moon and Teadrinkers won by 45 pins away at Rams.

Hazelnuts top Division 4, wininng by 15 pins at the Lions Club, Jack’s Boys won by 60 pins at Bridgwater RFC, Stags won by 29 at home to Jerry Builders and Boldy’s Army won by 18 at the Sportsman.

In Division 5 there were wins for Admirals by 29 at the King’s Head and Living on a Spare by 24 pins at home to Coate’s Club.
