OVER Stowey Cricket Club recently held their annual presentation evening at Over Stowey Village Hall.

Over 90 people were in attendance, a mixture of players, partners, vice-presidents and sponsors.

The evening comprised of a four-course meal, a series of speeches and then the awards.

Award Winners:

Club Highest Score – Phil Rich 1st Team Batting – Phil Simms 2nd Team Batting – Nick Rich Club Bowling – Micheal Barrow 1st Team Bowling – Barrie Buller 2nd Team Bowling – Ben Enever 1st Team Catches – Simon Pickard 2nd Team Catches – Rhys Satchell Most Improved Young Player – Stephen Miller Most Improved Club Player – Lee Rich 1st Team Player of the Year – Mark Sortwell 2nd Team Player of the Year – Tom Davison Players Player of the Year – Carl Woodley Clubman of the Year – Dan Butson Jason Barrow, of SWP Concrete Solutions, also picked up the Ray Poole Memorial Trophy for his team’s victory, which was played earlier in the season.

The club would like to thank Wendy and Kelvin Hill for arranging the evening, and Windsor Catering for an excellent meal.
