ONLY a handful of sides still had fixtures to fulfil this week with Division Three side Stogursey securing runners-up spot.

They faced Redgate and produced a 2-0 win thanks to two goals from Sam Gilder.

Meanwhile, fellow runners-up contenders Merry Monk were playing Sydenham Rangers nearby and won 3-0.

Champions Blagdon Hill finished their season with another win, beating Bridgwater Sports Reserves 3-2. On target for Sports were Leighton Ballentine and Mason Gill. In Division Four, the Gallery narrowly lost out on runners-up spot after they lost 2-1 at champions Milverton Rangers with James Gibbs grabbing the consolation goal.

Rhode Lane Wanderers won the mid table battle against Norton Fitzwarren winning 4-2, Sam Godfrey scored twice, Mitch Robins and Ben Patrick once each.

North Petherton Reserves beat Dulverton Town Reserves 2-1 as Gary Barnes levelled the scores just before half time and Dan Barnes scored the winner from a superb Tom Outram cross.

Division Five saw runners-up Woolavington lose out to Galmington Dragons who won 3-2 with Joe Jones getting two of them and Mike Stevenson one, Will Pope and Jonny Hunt got the Woolavington goals.

Bridgwater Grasshoppers got themselves off of the bottom of the league with a 6-2 win over fellow strugglers Wembdon Saints Reserves who replace them in bottom spot. Shane Thompson scored a hat trick, Dan Saunders got a brace and Lee Theobold one for Grasshoppers.
