MIDDLEZOY returned to winning ways with an impressive 9-0 victory at Worle on Tuesday evening.

The first goal was scored by Dan Luce on 15 minutes when his long range effort outfoxed the home keeper.

Craig Wright then doubled the lead midway through the half with a typically neat finish from close range.

After a dominant first half, Middlezoy went in two goals to the good and were about to demonstrate a ruthless second half of finishing.

The third was scored by Andy Smith who beat the keeper with a low strike. Number four followed from Steve Hall who smashed the ball into the roof of the net.

The fifth came from Luce, this time tapping in from close range. Aaron Whaites got on the score sheet after good work from Paul Atyeo for number six and Smith got his second on 75 minutes which found the top corner.

Damon Jennings added the eight from close range and the rout was completed by Hall who blasted in from a tight angle.

Zoy move back into second place with five games to play, four points behind the leaders.

Away to Westlands on Saturday and home to promotion rivals Portishead on Tuesday.
