BRIDGWATER Town are in FA Vase second qualifying round action tomorrow, as they travel to Cornwall to play St Austell (ko 3pm).
The Robins' last match was a frustrating stalemate at home to Hengrove Athletic, after which co-manager Karl Baggaley said: “It had 0-0 written all over it from the start - we could probably still be playing now and no-one would have scored.
“We did create chances - Matt Connick hit the post and we had a couple of headers saved - but we were hampered by injuries.
“We gave a debut to Sam Hallett, who has been playing well for the reserves, but he got injured after eight minutes, and his replacement Steve Holland then felt a recurrence of his hamstring injury.”
Looking ahead to Saturday's game, the Robins will look to do significantly better than the last Somerset team to face St Austell in the Vase - Bishops Lydeard being thumped 9-1.
St Austell are second bottom of the South West Peninsula League, though, and Baggaley is confident his side can deal with the challenge.
“I have been there and won before, with Ilfracombe, so I know what the pitch is like and I am familiar with some of their players,” he said.
“We will be welcoming back several players, including captain Kurt Robinson, and we just want to enjoy the day as we did at Gosport in the FA Cup.”

ALSO tomorrow, Bridgwater Town Reserves are at home to Nailsea & Tickenham, looking to lift themselves further away from the bottom of the Somerset County League Premier Division table with a positive result against the fourth-placed side.
In the same division, fifth-placed Middlezoy Rovers are at home to Shirehampton, who are ninth.
Both games kick off at 3pm.
