Toolstation Western League
Premier Division
Willand Rovers 1, Bridgwater Town 2

BRIDGWATER Town came from behind to beat Willand Rovers in their opening match in the 2017/18 Toolstation Western League Premier.

It extends their fine start to the season, after they beat Keynsham Town 5-2 in the FA Cup on Saturday.

But the Robins fell behind on 17 minutes, as Brett Worbey scored from the penalty spot for the hosts.

Two goals in three minutes before half time turned the game on its head, however.

After Josh White's equaliser on 41 minutes, Callum Ham put the Robins ahead with a 44th-minute spot-kick.

With no further goals in the second half, Bridgwater came away with the three points.

This coming Saturday sees the Robins host Brislington, who lost their opening match 1-0 at home to Bradford Town.
