BRIDGWATER Town captain Tom Knighton believes his side are beginning to find their form again after the Robins secured their first league victory of 2015 on Saturday.

Ross McNab and Jack Welling struck at either end of the second-half to complete a comfortable afternoon for the Robins and a tenth league win of the season – and Knighton hopes Town can kick on in the coming weeks.

He said: “We have been doing well in the last couple of weeks, since the 5-0 defeat at Shortwood and we have pulled ourselves together a bit.

“We have been playing pretty well recently and have changed our formation a bit – and the players that have come in have done really well for us.

“It’s always hard to play sides near the bottom of the table, because people just expect you to go out there and beat them just by turning up – but they’re often the toughest games, because the teams just put 11 men behind the ball and you’ve got to work hard to break them down.

“Once we got the goal on Saturday, we were pretty comfortable.

“We have got to take each game as it comes, but I certainly hope we can put another run of results together and climb the table.”

Bridgwater travel to Bashley tonight (Tuesday) before hosting Yate Town on Saturday (3pm KO) – manager Rich Fey has urged supporters to get behind his players and roar them on to victory.
