BRIDGWATER Town's scheduled match at Bridport in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division tonight (Wednesday) has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The news is far from surprising given this week's 'beast from the east' causing a chill across the country, and it is the second time the match has been called off.
It will be no surprise to anyone, but tonight’s @TSWesternLeague @Bridportfc vs @OfficialBTFC84 game is postponed because of a frozen pitch. Vic freezing to death at the turnstile was also a contributing factor.... @Dorsetechosport ❄️❄️⚽️⚽️🐝☃️☹️

The Robins will now look to continue their six-match winning streak at home to Odd Down on Saturday, weather permitting.
Bridgwater Town Reserves were also due to play tonight, at home to Chilcompton Sports, but that has also fallen victim to the conditions.
Following a pitch inspection at Fairfax Park, tonight’s Reserve Team game v @ChiliSportsFC had been postponed. A new date will be announced once agreed.
