Cadbury Heath 0, Bridgwater Town 4

BRIDGWATER Town are up to sixth in the Premier Division table after securing their third successive win in fine style at third-bottom Cadbury Heath on Saturday.

Two goals in each half - from Jack Taylor, Mike Duffy, Jack Jenkins and Steve Holland - gave the Robins all three points from an entertaining encounter on a heavy pitch which made flowing football difficult.

It could have been a very different game but for goalkeeper Jake Viney, however, as he made a double save from the penalty spot after Josh White fouled his man in the box on 15 minutes.

The game continued in an end-to-end fashion until the breakthrough came just before the half hour, when Syd Camper's fine crossfield pass found Taylor, who continued his superb goalscoring form since returning from injury by firing in at the near post.

The Robins doubled their lead five minutes later, as Camper was fouled in the area and Duffy showed the hosts how it's done by dispatching the spot-kick.

The visitors all but wrapped it up on 67 minutes, when Jenkins jinked past a couple of challenges and lifted his effort over the keeper.

Taylor and Jenkins both had chances to grab their second of the game, but the final goal came from substitute Holland, who finished well after Charlie White cut in from the right flank in the 89th minute.

Bridgwater Town: Jake Viney, Dave Thorne, Mark Armstrong, Josh White, Kurt Robinson, Harry Horton (Charlie White 76), Jack Jenkins, Mike Duffy, Syd Camper (Lee Begg 79), Dave Pearse (Steve Holland 67), Jack Taylor.

Next up for the Robins is a home match with Wells City Reserves, this coming Saturday (ko 3pm).

Wells are second from bottom in the table, so it is a good opportunity for the hosts to extend their encouraging form.
