BRIDGWATER Town are preparing themselves for a manic month of fixtures in November as they face up to the prospect of five games in 15 days.

On the back of Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Slimbridge (see page 71 for full report), the Robins travel to Shortwood United on Saturday, before hosting Chippenham in the second round of the Red Insure Cup on November 10 (7.45pm).

Town then host Burnham, who sit one point and three places above them in 18th, on November 14, before facing Shepton on November 17.

They then travel to 12th place Bishops Cleeve on November 21, before rounding off November with a home game against high-flying Winchester City.

Saturday’s defeat at Slimbridge sees the Robins slip back into the relegation zone in Southern League Division One South and West on goal difference, level on points with Wimborne Town and Wantage Town.

Bridgwater Town Reserves take on Watchet Town on Saturday in the Somerset Senior Cup.

Watchet are fourth in Somerset Premier and have won four of their last five games, scoring 20 goals in the process.
