BRIDGWATER Town manager Richard Fey is hoping for a good turnout from supporters as the Robins head into a run of four straight home games, starting on Saturday against Tiverton Town.
Saturday’s game at Bashley was called off, and Town now take on runaway leaders Merthyr on Tuesday night before hosting Larkhall Athletic and Wimborne Town, having been beaten 2-1 by Mangotsfield United on New Year’s Day.
Fey said: “All four of these games are hard for different reasons – I’m hoping for good support in the next four home games and really get behind these lads.
Of the Mangotsfield game Fey said: “In the first half we were excellent and Joe Bushin scored a great goal after two minutes, but after creating plenty of chances we couldn't get the second goal to help us defend into the wind, which got stronger in the second half.
“It was very hard in the second half and even their goalkeeper had a shot on target from a goal kick!
“I was disappointed we didn’t get a draw, but I can’t fault the lads’ efforts.”
