BRIDGWATER Town goalkeeper Ben John said his team were disappointed to take just a single point from Saturday's 1-1 draw with North Leigh having playing against ten men for large parts.

Tom Knighton's penalty levelled things up for Town after North Leigh defender Michael Hopkins had been dismissed for bringing him down in the penalty area - and John said his side were just unable to find an all important second goal.

He said: “It was a bit frustrating for us really, especially after they had a man sent-off, not to come away with three points.

“We didn't capitalise on the chances we created and at the end I suppose 1-1 was a fair result.

“We had spoken before the game about cutting off their crosses into the area, but they got one in the first couple of minutes and the lad scored from close range.

“Then we lost Craig to a red card at the end of the game, so we we've got a few players suspended and injured.

“It's a frustrating time at the moment, but onwards and upwards and we move on to two home games against sides that we will be looking to get a result against - two must win games coming up for us.”

The Robins take on Truro in the Red Insure Cup at Fairfax Park tonight, before hosting bottom side Bishops Cleeve on Saturday.
