West Somerset League Div Four: Bishop's Hull II 139 lost to North Newton 179-7 by 40 runs
NEWTON Seconds produced another exceptional team performance to win at Bishop's Hull, with young seamer Cam Street again the destroyer.
Having chosen to bat on a hard, but green pitch, they found scoring difficult. When senior opener Bryan Sellick (1) was bowled, captain Steve White and vice-captain Josh Cook stabilised things before, at 35-1 off 13 overs, Cook was caught for a patient 23.

James Stone and pushed thescore along to 98 from 38, but in one over from Barrett, both White (33) and Colin Cross (0) were out. After Stone had been bowled by the impressive Mancini for 34, Pete Jenkins and Alan Bradford (8) took the score on to 135 from 37 overs.
The last three overs yielded 24 runs, thanks to some big hitting from Jenkins, including two huge consecutive sixes. Newton ended on 159-7. with Jenkins (32 no) and Gordon Stone (7 no).
With only two seamers, Newton started well when the home side replied, taking two early wickets through Street and Pete Jenkins. Mancini slogged his way to 40 before he was bowled by Cross, which sparked a collapse, with Andrew Jenkins taking two quick wickets.
White brought back his seamers to clean up the tail and they bowled with brilliant control and accuracy. Street took 4-12 in seven overs, while Pete Jenkins (3-30 from 12) got rid of the stubborn Bulbeck and dismissed the last man.
