Town to face seven new teams next season

BRIDGWATER Town will come up against no less than seven new teams in their second season of British Gas Business League football.

Although only Newport (IOW) were relegated from Division One South & West - Slough Town were reprieved - while champions Farnborough and play-off winners Oxford City were promoted, various relegations and sideways moves in the National League system have resulted in a lot of new faces.

They include Cirencester Town, relegated from the BGB Premier Division, and two other Gloucestershire teams, Bishops Cleeve and Cinderford Town, both switched from the BGB Midland Division.

Promoted into Bridgwater's division are AFC Totton (Wessex Premier, from Southampton), Beaconsfield SYCOB (Spartan South Midlands Premier, from Buckinghamshire), North Leigh (Hellenic Premier, from Oxfordshire) and Truro City (Toolstation Western Premier).

Three teams who were in the South & West Division last season have been moved sideways: Hillingdon Borough (to Isthmian North), Fleet Town and Godalming Town (both to Isthmian South).
