TEAMS from the local area had a good day generally in the Somerset County Bowls League.
Bridgwater's A (Premier Two) and B (South West Two) teams both made it two victories in as many matches, while BCL A got off the mark, thrashing Williton by 33 shots in South West One.
Also in South West One, North Petherton and visitors Wyrral Park A drew, while Victoria Park A lost by eight shots at Crewkerne.

Eastover Park were beaten ay Donyatt in South West Two, but BCL B stayed 100% by beating Minehead and Victoria Park B won at Ilminster.
