IT has been a double disappointment this week for Bridgwater Town Ladies as they suffered two defeats in five days.
On Sunday, they fell 2-1 to Weymouth Ladies after the team was ravaged by injuries, illness and unavailability.
Weymouth took a 2-0 lead early in the second half and despite an Anneka Russ screamer they could not level the scores.
Meanwhile, they faced The Royal Navy on Wednesday and lost 3-2 with Anusia Rourke getting both Bridgwater goals but a late winner for Navy saw them claim the spoils.
Next week Town Ladies are at home to Cleeve West Town in the County Junior Cup with a 2pm kick off.
