BRIDGWATER Town are one step away from the FA Trophy First Round Proper if they can beat Bognor Regis Town on Saturday.

The team are looking to bounce back from defeat to Swindon Supermarine against Bognor, who are sixth in the Ryman League Premier Division.

Joint boss Dave Pople said there were no excuses for Saturday's performance and that there is plenty to talk about ahead of the weekend's cup clash.

He said: “We were upset with the goal but I felt we were lacklustre and didn't take our chances so that is inexcusable.

“The cup match is chance for some prize money for the club and the pressure is off because we are the underdogs. Hopefully we can enjoy the day out and get the right result.”

People booked on the coach need to meet at Fairfax Park at 9.15am. Kick-off is 3pm.
