Somerset 1
Bridgwater & Albion II 27, Wellington II 30
ALBION started well and following some sustained forward pressure the backs were released and a delicate chip, by Joe Stradling was well chased by Rae and Hambleton which lead to a well worked try for Prescott.
The home side extended their lead when a series of passes and offloads down the blind side produced a try in the corner for Stradling.
Wellington responded and they came back with a try to make the scores 10-5 to Albion.
The scores were level minutes later when Wellington ran over their second try but Bridgy upped their game to score out wide through makeshift winger Clark.
Wellington had the final say of the half, scoring their third try to level proceedings up again at 15-15.
In the second half, the visitors opened the scoring but Clark got Bridgy back on track with his second try.
Bridgwater then took the lead when a penalty was won seven metres out and the quick tap from Drabble was shifted to Russell who charged over the line to score under the posts and lead 27-25.
But late pressure from Wellington was rewarded when they scored to win 30-27 leaving Albion with two points from the game.
