PREDATORS are still undefeated in Division One of the Taunton and District League following their 4-2 victory over Highbridge Town with Carl Jones and Gary Head scoring a pair each, Stuart Green and Wayne Hand hit the net for Highbridge.

The mid table clash between Bridgwater Sports and Bishops Lydeard resulted in a Sports 4-1 win thanks to two goals from Paul Organ and one each from Matt Penwell and Keir Meaker.

North Petherton had a good 4-2 home win over SRL All Saints, Lewis Irish scored twice, Josh Gracie and Brady Hart added one each, Mark Pope and Darren Hill scored for Saints.

In Division Two, Wembdon Saints remain undefeated but only took one point in their away encounter at Wyvern Rangers, Scott Harman and Jason Hitchcock scored for Saints with Mark Kmita with Scott Higby getting Wyvern’s two to earn them a point.

Middlezoy Reserves are in second after picking up three points away to Nether Stowey, Jamie Temlett opened the scoring for Rovers on five minutes with Dan Russell scoring what turned out to be the winner from the penalty spot after Chris Lynham had equalised for Stowey.

It was honours even in the Westonzoyland and Watchet Town game with neither side able to break the deadlock.

In Division Three, Redgate suffered a 5-0 defeat to Blagdon Hill and Wembdon also lost in a 2-1 defeat to Merry Monk despite Joe Creswell’s goal.

Sydenham Rangers won 4-3 against Bishops Hull thanks to two Cam Wilkinson goals and one for Martyn Milton and Jason Stephenson.

It was 2-2 in the game between Stogursey and Bridgwater Sports Reserves, Simon Caddy put Stogursey in front against his old club with Josh Fowler getting Sports back level and despite Stogursey retaking the lead, a cracking goal from a direct free kick but Daryl Cocks earned Sports a point.

There was some doubt whether the Highbridge Town Reserves and Minehead game was going to take place with a waterlogged pitch, but Minehead still ran out comfortable 8-0 winners.

In Division Four, Bridgwater Sports Colts lost 4-1 to Galmington Dragons despite Craig Savage’s 35-yarder.

The Gallery lost 2-1 to Alcombe Rovers Reserves with Ollie Smith’s penalty proving scant consolation.

Rhode Lane Wanderers beat Morganians 3-1. Matt and Ben Patrick scored a goal each for Wanderers and Sam Godfrey got the third, Matt Parker replied for Morganians.

North Petherton Reserves beat Norton Fitzwarren 3-1 as Scott Norris, Lewis Buller and Ollie Brewer got ont he scoresheet.

In Division Five, two Phil Simms goals couldn’t stop Nether Stowey Reserves going down 7-2 to Tone Youth.

East Bower beat Middlezoy Athletic 4-0 thanks to two Jack Edwards goals, one from both Tom Keeley and Ollie Ham.

New boys Woolavington beat Exmoor Rangers 5-2 with Will Pope, Simon Coombes, John Higgins, Josh Corkett and Liam Neal making up the scoring.

Bridgwater Grasshoppers picked their first points up with a 2-2 draw against Galmington Dragons Reserves thanks to goals from Saunders and Nathan Mead.
