TIGER Old Boys cemented their spot in second place in Division 1 of the Uxella Bridgwater & District Sunday League after dishing out a 12-4 hiding to Blake Old Boys.

A Chris Taylor hat-trick, braces from Gary Head, Ryan Weston and Kyle Winter and one from Matt Eckley, Mike Hart and an own goal made up the scoring.

Red Tile pulled back a 2-0 deficit to beat Abbey Moor 7-2 thanks to goals from Lance Turner, Jack Taylor, Scott Capel, Sam Lewis, Luke Morgan and two for Ollie Smith.

Highburn drew 2-2 with Pawlett Rebels. Adam Lock grabbed a brace for the home side and Pawlett’s Darryl Taylor and Bart Ochim netted.

In Division 2, Cornhill took the chance to dart into second place with a 10-2 win over North Petherton.

Paul Goss scored five, Aaron Walford netted two and Gareth Monaghan, Ben Enever and Will Pope bagged one each.

Puriton ground out a 3-2 win against Tiger Old Boys Reserves despite two goals for Matt Washer.

Cobblestones hammered ROF 11-1 with Dan Spencer grabbing four, a Dan Harvey hat-trick, two for Jamie Merrick and further goals for Vinnie Maisey and Joe Whittaker.

There were 4-2 wins for Rhode Lane Wanderers against Huntspill Crowns and Ramblers at home to Knowle. Scott Robinson and Julian Fairfax grabbed Rhode Lane’s goals while Ed Habberfield, Jarrid Mackay, Joe Clark and Tom Pople all netted for Ramblers.

Willow Green claimed their second win of the season at Huntspill BPH with Dave Norrell, Marc Birt, Pawel Duda and Paul Quoroll all on target.
