KEVIN Milsom said he felt 'very aggrieved' following his side's 2-1 defeat to Poole Town at the weekend.

Town were 1-0 up at the break after dominating the first half but were undone by two Poole goals in three minutes in the second half.

Milsom said: “We should have killed the game off in the first half but we missed four or five really good chances and that came back to bite us.

“I feel aggrieved by the decisions that went against us and I'm sorry for the lads because they totally dominated a team at the top of the table for 45 minutes and get nothing to show for it.”

Town now turn their attention to stiff opposition in Hemel Hempstead Town in The FA Trophy First Preliminary Round on Saturday.

The visitors play in the league above Bridgwater and currently sit in third place despite losing 4-2 in their last match.

Their star striker is Charlie Mpi who has already bagged eight goals this term but Milsom said he isn't worried about the match, He said: “We have nothing to be frightened of and I think the boys will thrive off the competition.

“It will bring the best out of the lads and we will just keep doing what we are doing and it will all come to fruition.”

Kick-off for the match at Fairfax Park is 3pm.
