ENMORE Park convincingly beat Worlebury with wins for Paddy Maclennan and Fred Henderson, Derek Bremner and Brian Graham, Mike Sullivan and Pete Clark, Phil Cootes and Derek Kelly and Chris Marsh and Pete Hanlon. They produced a 5 ½ to ½ result with the pairing of Ernie Merrick and Dave Cotton adding a halved match.

In the Kinnersley Trophy the men beat the ladies 4-3 with wins for Matt Lazenby against Judy Hancock, Mike Rossiter against Eve Bolton, Pip Millar against Jill Simpson and Graeme Puttergill against Val Newell.

The three losses came from Captain Paddy Maclennan who lost a keenly fought match with Megan Dennett on the first extra hole, Martyn Clapp lost to Sally Dymock and Ken Doig lost to Heather Saxton. The Ladies were gracious in defeat and the presentation of the Kinnersley Trophy was completed by the Lady Captain Gwen Cavill and Sally Dymock.

Captain Paddy Maclennan joined Paul and Alison Spackman in the Spackman Associates Pro-Am team for the Annual Oake Manor Pro-Am and aided by Oake Professional Ian Vibert came home winners with a score of 11 under for the day.

Enmore Seniors returned to home soil entertaining their close neighbours Taunton Vale but Taunton edged to victory 5-3. Enmore's points were gained by fine performances in the pairings of Mike Perry with Peter Robinson winning by 6 & 5; Bob Burton with Roger Anniss, 5 & 4 winners; and Peter Hamshere with Gerry Oates, 3 & 1 victors. Sadly another winning pairing did not materialise. Enmore's next fixture is another home match against Mendip Springs.
