KEVIN Milsom said the team are progressing well after they claimed a 4-2 win in the FA Trophy at the weekend.

Joint manager Milsom (pictured) said he is impressed by how the team are gelling adding that they are already a few weeks ahead of schedule.

He said: “We are way ahead of where we want to be and everything is looking good.

“It was a good win and there will be an even bigger incentive to keep doing well in this competition.”

Town bring home the £2,300 prize pot and now face Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side Hemel Hempstead Town at Fairfax Park on Saturday, September 29, in the next round.

But, this Saturday, the team travel to Poole Town which Milsom says will prove a tough test for the team.

He added: “They are going to be one of the front runners this season, so the test is to come up against them and get something from the match.”

Kick-off is 3pm.
