ALAN Hurford ( pictured) has stepped down as chairman of Bridgwater Town Football Club.
He will still continue at the club in a general manager’s role but said the time had come to take some of the workload off his shoulders.
He said: “I have been doing it for about eight or nine years now and involved at the club since the 1970s but it is time to relax and I have a few other things to concentrate on now.
“I love it to death so I will still be involved working between the players and the committee.”
Pat Parker has taken over as chairman.
