Weston St John 4, Bridgwater Town Res 0

IT was a disappointing weekend for the Reserves as they fell to defeat at Weston St John.

The team are still missing a number of key players including Adam Long (holiday), Rob Snook (unavailable) and Jared Pople (ankle injury) and currently sit near the foot of the table with one win to their name from seven outings.

Captain Kenzie Farnham said: “We need to pick up the results because we do not want the lads’ heads to drop.

“They were a strong physical team and they tried to bully us a little bit but we are trying to play the right football and we are a young side.”

The team travel to Clevedon United on Saturday. Kick-off is 3pm.
