North Petherton Colts 21, Burnham Colts 7
TRIES from Will King, Howard Heywood and Jake Slingsby-Smith ensured North Petherton got off to winning ways in the Colts League this season.
The team trailed 7-0 at half-time after a Burnham try but they put in a good team performance in the second half with conversions from Connor Perkins to wrap up the win.
Coach Kim O'Connor praised the team and picked out under 16 players Connor Doyle, Dan Frost, James Chin and Liam Small as having a great game.
The team are at home to Taunton on Saturday. Kick-off is 3pm.
