KICKBOXER Chris James made a stunning impact at an eight-man tournament in Weston-super-Mare.
The 28-year-old went into the competition as joint favourite and had a bye through the first round.
He faced tough opposition in the semi finals against Shaun Forde but it took less than two rounds for the Bridgwater man to unleash his power and knock out Forde with a left hook that connected flush on the jaw.
In the final, James followed up his earlier demolition with another left hook knockout against unbeaten Bristol fighter Neil Richards in the opening ten seconds of the first round.
